In honor of all the mothers out there...those living on earth or those who have gone before us...whether they might be birth mothers, adoptive mothers, grandmothers or even 'spiritual mothers'. To honor some of these amazing and beautiful women, i'd like to share a few recent portraits that are very dear to me.

Newborn Baby Photography

A quick update  featuring a few recent baby sessions i'd like to share.  It seems the trend so far is...BOYS!
2013 is off to a great start, and we're looking forward to the warmer weather and getting back outside!

Celebrating all the Veterans!

Lisa Julia Photography would like to thank all the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting the freedoms we enjoy in this country!
So we would like to extend our Military Special all the way till May 2013 for all active duty Military Personnel.  All sessions booked by December 31, 2012 and taking place by May 31st 2013, will be able to use their session fee toward their print purchase!  Email the studio for more details and enjoy this recent portrait of a beautiful newborn boy and his lovely mom who is a 'newly pinned' Lieutenant Colonel!

Okay....i definitely can say at this point, that this is the longest i've ever gone without a blog post!
Try as i might to set time aside, once blogger changed their dashboard configuration i totally wimped out...plus...these days it's been much easier to keep up with Facebook since it's easier to update!....What's that you say?  You're haven't yet 'liked' my Facebook page?  Well we can fix that!  If you click this link right HERE it will take you right there!

Happy New Year!
I hope 2012 has been going well for everyone so far.  I can already tell it's going to be a good one!
Here is a very handsome newborn boy (just 1 week old!) named Ian....and as you can tell, he's also a future Virginia Tech Fan!

High School Senior Photography

Summer Portrait Photographer in Northern VA

I hope everyone is enjoying their Summer so far!

We've been very busy lately and i am SO thankful for all of my wonderful clients. Currently we are completely booked till mid-August. If you have already contacted me regarding a session prior to June 30th and you have not received your final booking date, please email me ASAP.

We are doing our best to keep up with the Summer bookings while also taking time for a much anticipated Summer break. It will be the first time in 5 years so it's been a long time coming! We will do our best to return emails and calls during the break when possible but the turnaround may not be as quick as usual.

In the meanwhile, I just want to post a few sessions before it ends up being Fall!!!
